"Sidra" by Author Kate Fitzpatrick is Now Out!

As soon as my good friend Kate told me that she was writing a book, I could not wait till the day it arrived! Now the time has finally come and I placed my Amazon.com order the minute I heard it was released!

IN A NEW FANTASY FOR YOUNG READERS, TWO GIRLS SHARE AN UNBREAKABLE BOND WHEN THEY DISCOVER A MAGICAL WORLD.

Sidra is released by author Kate Fitzpatrick.
SUMMARY:

When Stella and Violet first meet one another at summer camp in upstate New York, they don’t become instant friends. But when the two girls realize that they are the only ones who can see a spectacular purple and white star glowing in the night sky, they begin their journey of friendship together, one that will ultimately lead them to a magical world called Sidra.
Sidra, by author Kate Fitzpatrick, is a book for young adults about two girls who discover a new world and a whole cast of fascinating characters. One rainy night, an elderly centaur shows up at Stella’s house and implores the two friends to join him on a mission to stop an evil sorceress named Desdemona from destroying his world. The girls accept and accompany him on a dangerous quest where they will meet other beings from Sidra, both good and evil. Stella and Violet will not only discover an exciting new world, but will also learn the true depth of courage and love that lies within themselves.

Sidra will appeal to all readers, both young and old, who enjoy fantasy fiction.
It is available online at amazon.com. Just type in "Sidra" and "Kate Fitzpatrick". Or, click the link:

On YouTube For the First Time...

So many of you know that Eric and I bought our first home! We had a really great experience through Tom Endicott and TeamEndicott (Remax)! They have asked us to be interviewed for a video that is now up on their site! It is my YouTube debut, so tell me what you think!

PS.. My Hair is REALLY long. I need to cut it. I was growing it out for my June wedding, but I think I have grown it out enough. I cannot wait to chop it all off back to my chin!

Great News for Heart-O-Matic Lovers and Two Great Blogs!

So, I got onto the Heart-O-Matic yesterday to check my hearts, views, stats, etc. They replaced the "Coming Soon" tag with a "Featured Tag. This new tag tracks when you are on the front page of Etsy and if you are in any gift guides. According to a thread I was reading, they are adding another feature as well (hum.... maybe a treasury feature tacking link).  Anyways... I wanted to share that with those who have not checked out the site recently!

I also want to share two fun non-Etsy blogs my BFF Jamie suggested ;). (shout out to Jamie on Google Reader).

Bakerella (She loves baking, but it seems to be a very popular blog)

And

The Pioneer Woman (So cool that you just have to visit)

I Have Been Featured on iheartdaily.com!

I got a convo today that I was featured on a blog. I had to wait till I got home to check the blog. I was expecting to see a normal blogspot or typepad blog, but it was a very nice site that was well put together. The review was very nice and I was flattered to be chosen.

I would check out iheartdaily.com because it is such a well put together, stylish, and fun site! Thanks for featuring me!

ETSY ARTIST FEATURE #7: Edamamepress

Happy Saturday everyone!

I wanted to share one of the neatest printmaking shops I have seen in a while! As you know, printmaking is my second love, although my shop does not reflect that as much as I would like it to, so I could not take my eyes off of the original prints that are displayed in this shop!

Edamamepress has a range of different printmaking techniques she uses such as woodcuts, papercuts, and monotype prints.  There is also a nice price range for her colorful works. One thing I like is that she has framed prints available for your hanging pleasure, but also offers her prints unframed if you contact her.

I really enjoy her tree prints. I especially like the Forest at Night (see in the featured picture above). Her black and white prints are stunning and the line quality and details is what makes her prints so spectacular. I am an ACEO collector and I also collect for my elementary art students. I LOVE this ACEO!

I hope you have enjoyed this artist as much as I have. Please send a heart their way if you do! Feel free to comment below on the artist for YOUR chance to be featured!
