Etsy Shop Sharing: Two Seaside Babes

Today I would like to share the Etsy shop of my favorite hat that will not leave my head ever...

The fashionable wearings of, Two Seaside Babes, is an Etsy shop created by mother and fiber artist, Jessi. She specializes in various styles of crocheted hats and accessories. They are also the original creator of the Buckle Beanie, which I own! Her original and very high quality handmade items are a HUGE seller and very popular both locally in the Indianapolis area and on Etsy. In fact, Two Seaside Babes are high up on the list of Etsy top sellers!

With such a large selection of colors and sizes, it is easy to shop for anyone in your family or friends. She also specializes in custom orders, so when you need a set of matching hats for a family photo shoot, or a super cute beanie or headband for your newborn, you will know where to go! You cannot go wrong buying anything from this AMAZING shop and artist. Her handmade goods are truly stunning!

Have you purchased from Two Seaside Babes? We would love to hear all about it!

Are you local and will be attending the Lawrence Central Holiday Boutique or the Hoosier Artisan Boutique over the next two weekends? Make sure you stop by her booth to try her handmade items on in person!

"Craft Count"

Tonight I am sharing another great site with you that I discovered in the Etsy forums, craftcount.com. The following was taken from the site creator's forum thread...

"I’m delighted to finally introduce you to Craft Count, a site tracking Etsy top sellers by sales count. The landing page features a summary with the top 10 sellers in the 3 main Etsy categories; Handmade, Vintage, Supplies and an additional list to capture the top 10 overall. Tab 2 and 3 portrays the sellers by Country and Category respectively. I’ve restricted the information to capture sellers with over 1000 sales and the top 100 in the sub-categories."

There are several sites that show top selling crafters and shops, but this one is very well organized, up to date, and you can search different categories and lists to find the top sellers on Etsy in your area without all the supply people getting in the way (no offense).

I suggest you visit the site by checking out www.craftcount.com or check out their current thread.

What do you think?! I like it!

THANK YOU TO THE FOLLOWING RE-TWEETERS!

The Black Apple on Martha!

Last week I got to watch the ETSY segment of Martha when Rob was on the show. I saw some amazing shops and shops I had even gotten to know! I had never run across seller, theblackapple, before other than looking at the Top Sellers List every once in awhile.

Today in the threads, I came across this thread about theblackapple on Etsy. I just think it is so cool when sellers ae featured on the show, so I watched the clip and was very impressed by her! Being a 1st year art teacher and college art major, I was so excited to see someone as young as myself making a living off of her talent.

This is only my third month on ETSY and I sold my 100th item on Monday! It is sure a start, but nowhere near the 13,096 sales she has had as of today! She is currently the top seller on ETSY and creates wonderful prints, paintings, and dolls in her shop.

Please take some time to check out this link to her shop.

Click here to be taken to the video segment!
