I LOVE lip balm and chap stick. I use to always use it until I started buying a TON from Etsians! I do not think I want to make it to sell because I have enough things as it is, but I sure want to try it!Here are some awesome links to learn how to make your own lip balm!

i love blsoaps' lip balms, and i keep eyeing her supplies store. people complain about what a pain it is to fill those tubes, though!
i love the idea of a kit, and i wasn't aware that they were available on etsy. it might be fun to try it out, but with a little kit it's less commitment than buying a bunch of supplies!
i definitly buy too much lip balm on etsy... try the pear from AspenSpa. its a treasure! :)

Thanks Nicole and JuliaA for the awesome shout outs! Lip Balms have always been an absolute favorite item of mine to make. I'm one of those WEIRD people who find pouring with pipettes relaxing! But for those who find it tedious, the filling trays are WONDERFUL!!!
My husband, David, has taken over BLSupplies on Etsy and has some awesome plans for the coming year. In fact, lip balm kits are once of the first new goodies he plans on introducing!
I am going to have to check out your suggested sellers. My husband and I have pledged to buy handmade whenever possible this year!

What a great idea...to make your own lip balm :) That way you get the flavor, color, etc. you want! Off to check out some of those tutorials!
